Martina Valente (1998, Venice, IT) is a graphic designer whose practice focuses on editorial systems, typography and collaborative practices.
Working across books, identities and cultural commissions, she approaches graphic design as a way of organising content, shaping narratives and building relationships between different disciplines. She is interested in building layered visual narratives, where typography, images and editorial structure contribute equally to the meaning of a project. Her work often develops through collaboration, combining research with commissioned projects and moving fluidly between publishing, photography and art direction.
She is currently part of Pepe Spike, a design collective founded with Noa Merlini and Agnese Pozzobon. ♥
